My Pain-in-the-Butt Baby Sister Sheila

I have a little sister Sheila. I remember when she was born. I remember her as a baby and a toddler about the same age as my youngest Sofia. I remember she was a pain in the butt. "Pick me up - pick me up," she'd whine. She was a leaner ... she'd always want to be leaning on you or poking or prodding you ... seemingly starving for attention ...asking a lot of baby sister questions. Lots of us have one, I guess. Sheila's my baby sister!

Sheila is in her 40s now. A part of me still thinks of her as my baby sister ... as a matter of fact, we were talking about this very subject on the phone the other day. Sheila still thinks of me as her big brother. Sheila has 3 kids of her own now, she's a single Mom and as you've probably already guessed where I'm going here ... she has MS.

My pain-in-the-butt baby sister has Multiple Sclerosis. I love her very much and She needs me to pick her up now more than ever. That's my story ... my inspiration to get this inaugural event off the ground. I want to help my baby sister. I want to help people like her that need our help. We should all help because they are just not able to help themselves.
