Stephen Siano and I would like to thank you for your support last year in the first annual PWRFC Fight-MS charity golf tournament. Your generosity helped to raise over $5,900 dollars. Proceeds were distributed directly to the Greater Delaware Valley MS Society and the Steve’s sister Sheila O'Doherty who is courageously fighting MS everyday.
With a very successful first running of what is on the way to being an annual outing, Hancock Building Associates, Inc. (www.hancock-building.com), 4x3, LLC (www.4x3.net) and Philadelphia Whitemarsh Rugby Football Club (www.therugbyclub.org) have set the date for the second Fight MS golf outing. The outing will once again be held at the prestigious Spring Ford Country Club in Royersford, PA.
We're happy to pass on that Megan DiPanni, Vice President, Development for the Greater Delaware Valley Chapter of the National MS Society is on board and ready to get more involved in 2009. Please read Megan's email to Keith McLean regarding our event. Along with Megan, we ask you to Join the Movement!
Keith,
Hey Stephen,
My brotha from anotha motha---what's been going on?? Scotty Walker here---looking forward to seeing your smiling face this Monday. That's right--a foursome of Bethlehem boys are making an appearance and supporting our old Nemesis--Philly Whitemarsh.
Be on the lookout for:
As some you know, I lost my aunt to MS in March of this year. My aunt, Sandy Woolford, bravely battled MS for over 40 years. And to her memory and to help others afflicted with MS, like Steve's sister Sheila, this year we are promoting a charity golf outing to promote MS.
